    The number of corporate users of the free business SNS R-GROUP has finally reached 10,000 in the world.

    The number of corporate users totaled 10,000 as of May 19, 2015, for the 11-language global business SNS R-GROUP, which was developed by R-GROUP Co., Ltd., for the purpose of establishing the world standard for business SNS.

    R-GROUP increased the number of corporate users throughout the world to over 7,700 in about two years since its redesign of the service in June 2013 to support multiple languages, add a business SNS and chat function, and implement a no-charge call function over smartphones. R-GROUP will work to enhance the functions and improve the operability of R-GROUP so as to support the business of more corporate users in the world.

    R-GROUP transformed from groupware for Japanese companies to a global business SNS in June 2013. It is a cloud-type service free of charge that offers many functions such as schedule management, bulletin board, chat, and shift management which can be used on PCs and smartphones, and supports a total of 11 languages, including Chinese and French, as well as Japanese and English.

    Free business SNS used by more than 6,800 companies in the world R-GROUP has implemented a free call function.

    R-GROUP offers a free business SNS supporting 11 languages, develops and manages cloud office management systems, and now provides free calls between its users.
    The β version of R-GROUP has already made it possible for R-GROUP users to talk over smartphones for free. As a result of the pursuit of convenience in talking on the smartphone, R-GROUP has successfully realized voice calls comparable to fixed phone circuits over 4G/LTE circuit and 3G circuit, as well as wireless LAN circuit. This function will be officially made public. Together with the existing functions of inter-user mail, chat, and a bulletin board, R-GROUP has now become a forerunner in communication tools that connect today's busy businesspersons.

    R-GROUP will work to improve usability, enhance the functions, and localize the application for the supported countries in order to become Japan's cloud service company as the world standard.

    After registering as a user of R-GROUP, download the application for smartphones (iOS or Android) and log in. Choose the user you want to talk with from Stakeholder management.

    R-GROUP was originally developed as an in-house management system. In 2009, it was publicized in Japan as free cloud groupware, followed by a substantial redesign in June 2013.     The number of corporate users of the free business SNS R-GROUP has exceeded 5,000 globally.

    The number of corporate users totaled 5,000 as of April 27, 2014, for the 11-language global business SNS R-GROUP, which was developed by R-GROUP Co., Ltd., for the purpose of establishing the world standard for business SNS.　

    R-GROUP went through a substantial redesign in June of last year and has steadily increased the number of corporate users as a new business SNS with both SNS functions for companies and groupware functions.

    R-GROUP will work to increase the number of customers to 10,000 and to 100,000 by improving the operability and realizing high-level localization.

    R-GROUP was originally free groupware whose service was targeted for small and midsize businesses in Japan. After a major redesign in 2013, the service now offers a business SNS in 11 major languages. The number of users has since increased at a pace much faster than before.

    The number of corporate users of the cloud-type free business SNS R-GROUP (http://r-group.com) supporting 11 languages of the world and supplied by R-GROUP Co. Ltd. (head office: Shinagawa, Tokyo, president: Shoki Fujiwara) developing office management systems has exceeded 3,500 to 3,584 as of November 11, 2013.

    R-GROUP intends to work hard to increase the number of supported languages, add new functions, and improve operability by creating a new inter-business communication method that has not been available before and thereby contributing to unification of the world's businesses.

    Overview of R-GROUP
    R-GROUP is groupware that was made public in Japan in 2009. The service was substantially redesigned as a business SNS supporting 10 languages in June 2013. Because the number of users is unlimited and all functions can be used on PCs and smartphones for free, R-GROUP has been adopted by many government agencies, companies listed on the first section of stock exchange, and organizations, which rapidly increased the number of users.

    Free business SNS that connects the world starts supporting Russian.

    Business SNS R-GROUP has started supplying a Russian version.

    R-GROUP now offers a Russian language version of cloud-type business SNS R-GROUP that is currently used by more than 2,612 corporate users in the world. This brings the number of supported languages to 11: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese (simplified and traditional characters), Korean, Japanese, and Russian.

    R-GROUP has grown into a global business SNS that supports 10 major languages after the substantial redesign in June. With the goal of contributing to the world's business as the Internet spreads, 216 new companies are now using R-GROUP since its redesign.

    Russian is an important language that must be supported to connect businesses throughout the world. Over 270 million people, including 160 million native speakers, speak Russian. This language is spoken not only in Russia, which boasts the world's eighth nominal GDP, but also in its neighboring countries belonging to CIS, every day.

    Now that it supports Russian, the R-GROUP business SNS supports 11 languages and can be used in 127 countries around the world. In addition, implementing new chat and toll-free call functions is slated for this summer. R-GROUP intends to expand the area where the SNS can be used by increasing the number of supported languages, develop new functions, and improve usability in order to realize business-to-business communication which could not be seen before.

    Multilanguage Free Version R-Group Now Released in 21 Countries in the World

    R-group Co., Ltd., an in-house management system vendor headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and headed by Syoki Fujiwara, Representative Director, has significantly renewed the free groupware R-GROUP adopted in more than 2,400 companies in Japan for multilanguage support, timeline function, and stakeholder function and released in 21 countries in the world on Jun 3.

    Business SNS for linking businesses and individuals in the world
    Today, global activities over multiple countries are essential for every business. In consideration of this, the free groupware R-GROUP has been developed to enable everybody to do the global activities easily and inexpensively without being restricted by languages and countries.
    Initially, R-GROUP has been developed as a management system for internal use only and then disclosed restrictively in Japan in 2009. Today, it has been adopted in more than 2,400 companies including government organizations and first section listed companies and does not restrict the number of access users at all. In addition, it has rapidly increased the number of users until this day owing to its advantage that its functions are all available for free on PCs and smartphones.
